The Children’s Polyphonic Choir is a creative music program designed to deepen children’s relationship with music and give them the experience of creating together. The approach is age-appropriate, play-based and experiential.
IPA Studio's polyphonic children's choir in Hamburg is a Turkish-language choir setting in which children explore voice and music together. Rhythm, listening, voice control and making music as a group are approached through the shared experience of polyphonic singing.
Choir work focuses not only on singing but also on hearing other voices and becoming part of a shared musical flow. Work with rhythm, listening and voice supports children in making music with attention to one another as an ensemble.
Making music in a group offers a way to experience individual expression and collective creation at the same time. Creativity, ensemble awareness and stage experience come together as connected parts of the musical process.
